Lasfit Liners Installed On My 4th Gen Tacoma

I love the bed mat from Lastfit but I didn't cut out the tie down holes. I like that the mat is pretty rigid so when hauling around yard debris or dirt it's easy to slide out the whole matt (and left over particles) at the end of the job and clean it off.

    Different Beeps

Am I just hallucinating or what. I think there are 2 different sources of beeps in the truck Dashboard beeps -- Seat belts and dashboard warnings Infotainment beeps -- Beeps on start up and beeps when you touch the screen (Can be turned off and on) Note about the start up beep --- Why is it a...

Got My First Oil Change Done - 2,500 Miles

I did about the same as you. First one at 3k and then will do 5k People will slag about the money but when has it been bad to change the oil too much? I got over 300,000 trouble free miles on my last truck and would still be driving it today if a deer hadn't gotten in the way. It got its oil...

    Clazzio Seat Covers

The main gray part is perforated leather and the black part is some sort of synthetic leather. They say that is because they want less stretch in certain areas, so the seat covers stay tight. Clazzio has a ton of different materials you can choose from. I've been tightening them up as they...

New SnailArmor Aluminum Tailgate Panel - Prototype Testing, Need Your Feedback!

I'd probably buy this. Might be neat to have an option for a gap filler.

    Clazzio Seat Covers

Had a set of Clazzio leather seat covers put on. In my 2007 I loved them - Fit so well it was like factory leather. The 2024 isn't quite as tight but the quality of the seat cover is A++

    Show Me Your Underground Tacoma!

It's a Leer It's really nice but with the changes to the Toyota bed it doesn't seem Leer can completely match the contour on the side of the bed. Not sure how the other topper makers solved the problem.

    Hassle with Canopy and Dealership

Exactly -- but You would think there would be an easier way to connect since the tailgate has a remote lock also.... Is the tailgate locking with the remote an option not all the trucks have? That must be as why have the general directions from Leer having it wired all the way in the door sill?

    Hassle with Canopy and Dealership

They have to wire in brake light and the lock so it works with the remote. I will do a video review of the shell/topper/canopy as soon as my bronchitis clears up. (hard to talk lol) While the shell/topper/canopy has a lot of good things about it -- There are a couple things people need to know...

    Hassle with Canopy and Dealership

Video of work To be fair -- The canopy company stepped up -- They paid Toyota directly for the repair -- $653.20 This took them about 3 hours to look into what was wrong. Pretty low quality work and I am pretty sure the manager of the canopy company is going to have words with the installer...

    Hassle with Canopy and Dealership

Canopy company called me first thing this morning and wanted to talk directly to dealership. He said they get info direct from Toyota on how to install. Now I think cool its still possible the employee did a bad job but at least Canopy company and dealership can fight over it. I'll update as it...

    Hassle with Canopy and Dealership

Ok I gotta vent. Got a canopy installed Saturday and while I expected the fit to be better but it is what it is. But then 30 minutes later I get an SRS Airbag warning message and I stop by the Toyota dealership. Toyota dealership 2 minutes from house -- Canopy place 40 minutes from house. Next...

    Key Fob Battery

Weird seems like I had a key fob battery die after only 3 months. Guess I will monitor this and see if it drains batteries faster than it should before I complain to the dealer about it. At least it's easy to change.
