Yeah I've been really happy with mine! I meant to link the product but you can find it here: https://screenprotech.com/products/toyota-tacoma-screen-protech-kit?srsltid=AfmBOopjGWJcszKtza_VFyYeKg-hl_4APTn0gkVPE4pOwXrlutioyPR5&sca_ref=7689222.0efdHK3CSV
Yeah, Screenprotech also makes a kit for the dash cluster. I installed this one as well but didn't take great photos. I also had it in my last
That's fair! I also ran the factory protector for a bit but messed it up while detailing the truck lol. There's definitely cheaper options out there but...
Yeah you're definitely right about the extra support from the vertical support bars! I was hoping to add a set more for added support/peice of mind. But I'll be seeing the Leitner team this weekend so I'll definitely ask if they plan to make a set!
And good luck installing your Leitner rack...
Hey everyone!
I’m on the hunt for bed stiffener recommendations that are compatible with my Leitner Designs ACS bed rack on my 4th gen Tacoma. I haven’t tested any options yet, but I know this was an issue I ran into on my 3rd gen as well — until Leitner came out with their own bed stiffeners...
This install was long overdue but FINALLY installed my sPOD BantamX control system, and honestly — super simple overall and I should've done it way sooner. I swung by Baja Designs to pick up the kit, along with their new mounting plate for the switch module that’s made specifically to pop right...
One of the easiest mods I’ve done so far is adding the ScreenProTech matte screen protector to the display! I wanted to protect the screen from scratches, and from experience with my old rig, I’ve learned that dirt and displays/screens don’t mix — no matter how careful you are when cleaning. So...
Finally got around to adding my DV8 rear shock and link skid plates. The install is super easy as it only requires a 17mm and 19mm socket, a Torque wrench and utilizes the OEM bolts. You will be removing the shock mount factory bolt with the 17mm socket and only loosening the link mount bolt...
I previously made a post asking for some CAI recommendations and got alot of positive feedback on the SXTH ELEMENT CPLT and ended up going with their intake!
Firstly, the install was super easy. Took about an hour in total. Sxth element had a really great YouTube install video (I'll link below)...
Finally got the chance to make it down to @the_taco_garage (IG handle) shop and add their Dashtop Multi-Mount to the Tacoma!
I really like that it doesn't require any drilling (as my 3rd gen mount did--different brand though) and I love how OEM it looks. It also is super easy to install and the...
This is really cool! Thanks for sharing! I might need to get some as an option to protect the doors from our pup as well..she loves to try and open the windows lol
