I did some more digging under the hood today, and that 12v in post #5 goes to the ECU that controls the electric motor connected to the transmission. My plan is to use that post, mount an Auxbeam relay center on top of the fuse box, then use one of 2 fuses (20a wiper most likely) for the ACC...

Did you ever hear back from Toyota? What did you end up doing? If you have any pics most appreciated. I am adding some ditch, grille lights to my Taco would love to see how you did it.
