- 2026 Tacoma SR 4x4
Buying a 2026 Tacoma SR Xtra Cab tomorrow and after having it undercoated, I plan to upgrade the tires soon after and want to go biggger.
I'm here in upstate NY and a good 3 snowflake rated tire like KO3s, Wildpeaks or Nokian Outposts is pretty much mandatory. I'm in the mountains nearly every weekend and often on fire roads and unpaved roads in NY and VT.
All of that said, will take-offs from a 4th gen OR fit the SR trim without any rubbing? The 265/70r17 OR tires are a big leap in tire size from the 245 70r17 steelies... For those who have an OR, have you used the stock tires in winter?
I don't plan to lift the truck, just bigger tires to get a bit more clearance, skid plate then done.
Thanks for any input, stoked for a new Tacoma after many years without one!
