2024 Tacoma Bad Paint Quality

I have an Underground colored 2024 Toyota Tacoma and the paint when I received this truck was BAD. I’m not sure if it was the dealer prep, transportation, or shipping yard that got their paws on my truck, but it needed some love. I mentioned this in my previous YouTube videos and it seems I’m not the only one who has a Toyota in this color who has had some issues, 4Runner included!

My Tacoma was hazy, had swirl marks, and even some micro scratches. I was able to have my detailer do a single stage polish which helped knock down a good majority of the imperfections.

Hey Jon

I live in Miami Fl and today was the first cold day of the season. Nothing major but still enough to turn on the tpms light. Anyways once I get to my front right tire I notice some chipping on the paint. Then I notice some more. I was curious have you heard from anyone else about the paint chipping just like the previous gen? I did have a 3rd gen white TRD sport that chipped at the doors,so I know what it looks like unfortunately. Was not expecting it on this one. Reason why I went with the blue this time around.
