Hey everyone I posted my YouTube video showing 3 advantages for Tacoma and 3 for Frontier.
For Frontier:
- It has the straight V6 engine with no turbos. I don't see this as an advantage myself, as Tacoma has more power with both i-FORCE and i-FORCE MAX. However, a LOT of commenters say they would choose Frontier due to the V6.
- It has more usable rear seat leg room. I think it's 33.7 inches for Tacoma and 33.2 for Frontier, but if you sit in the back of both of them, there is clearly more usable room for Frontier passengers.
- It is less expensive, so if pricing is a big criteria, that would be useful in your decision.
For Tacoma:
- I like the smoother and lighter steering. Frontier is heavier and I don't prefer it as much. It's the hydraulic power steering, and I'm sure some like it, but not me.
- Toyota's camera system and back-up system is much clearer and more comprehensive.
- Tacoma has better mpg for both i-FORCE and i-FORCE MAX vs Frontier.
- Bonus: it's offered in automatic or manual.
