Hey all, I recently bought a 4th gen Tacoma Hybrid, and intended to install a 41.22 kill switch which is basically a switched starter relay. Wondering if anyone has done this and how/where they wired the ground off the control box? Instructions want you to go to battery but obviously thats a little problematic with it being under the back seat.

I'm not a total novice here, but the 4G hybrid certainly seems complicated. I understand there are chassis grounds in the engine bay, but don't know where they are or what to look for and when I popped the hood on this thing it looks like a space shuttle to me.

Can you wire one of these to the aux switches? Good idea or no?

I live in an area with some of the highest vehicle thefts in North America and trying to do whatever I can to keep my truck. Equally open to any guidance as to whether this is a good idea or not.

Hey. New member here. I purchased the switch but had a couple of dumb questions. First, what relay did you use? I don’t see a Starter relay. Did you use IGP NO1? Also, did you find a convenient ground? Finally I was assuming I could just run the wire thru the grommet on the driver’s side. Was that your approach? Thanks
