Has anyone had any luck running aftermarket TPMS sensors on the new Tacoma? I don’t want to pull the ones out of my OEM set, so I tried a universal option and they only worked for about 20 minutes before dropping out.

Curious what brands people are having success with and where you went to get them installed/programmed. Did you just go through a tire shop, dealer, or somewhere else that could actually get them paired up?

Would love to hear what’s worked (and what hasn’t) before I waste more time and money chasing sensors that don’t work with this truck.

As far as I've heard or seen, anyone who works on wheels and tires (who knows what they're doing) says you gotta stick with OEM right now. Usually the DENSO ones work well, but maybe they haven't released the non-Toyota branded parts yet. If you didn't know, Toyota often uses other suppliers for certain components. DENSO has historically been a big one. Probably carried over to the new gens as well. Just for reference.
