FS: BPF rear skid plates/recovery points

Hey everyone,

Matt here from www.bpfabricating.com. I’m looking to move some take-off rear skid plates and recovery points out of my shop. These pieces are in excellent shape—they were simply prototypes before I transitioned to having my recovery points milled. All required hardware will be included.

I’m asking $350, plus $25 for shipping to the lower 48 states.

Pretty neat idea. Have you tested the impact strength of the armor portion? Can the truck be jacked up on that spot? Any big hits on it yet?

Thanks so much! I came up with this idea after noticing how often 3rd-gen bumper caps get ripped off. I’ve done some impact testing, the main issue is that the plastic trim tends to catch on rocks. These let everything slide smoothly instead.

I also tried jacking up the vehicle, which was a bit tricky and felt sketchy due to the angles. I did manage to get the tire in the air, the skid plate contacted the bumper. There's a fair amount of play in the plastic caps, so I don’t anticipate any problems. I plan on making a video showing me taking a sled hammer to them, just nerves I might miss and hit the truck haha.

I’ll probably make a small adjustment for the next production run. The holes are oblong to allow for some positioning flexibility, I'll just make that slightly less so they catch move as much.
