Finally, for those of us who have removed the JBL given the unbalanced sound/control of its volume while inserted into the Dash. A 3D Printed filler plate to fill the hole in the dash, just ran across this on Amazon.

I just ordered one, will see how it does. Hopefully it doesn't rattle.

Wait, what? Audio plays through the removable JBL speaker when inserted into the dash?
Yep, the sound stage is terrible with it installed, it's far too loud for its placement. You cannot control how loud or disable it w/o removing it completely.

Alright, so fitment is not bad could use some refinements. First concert was if it was going to get stuck, seems like its fine in that respect. But do wish the maker had a build plate that mimics the OE texture of the dash better.

Aside from that, happy that I no longer have a gaping hole in the dash or have to see the reflection of the stickers on the glass.

Either way, happy with this, not bad for $20.

FYI, do not buy... It failed after 2-days of being installed.

Looks like the Amazon one is a cheap knock off, from the one on Etsy... will try that one when i get around to ordering it.
