I recently added the MagnaFlow Overland Series Cat-Back Exhaust to my Tacoma, and I’m wildly impressed!

Immediately I could definetly feel an increase in hp and torque (esp in sport mode) and the exhaust really enhances the sound of the turbo, giving it a deeper, more aggressive tone without being too obnoxious or sounding silly--which I was concerned about with it being a 4-banger and all--but Magnaflow definitely killed it with this set up. It's also not super drone-y on long uphill climbs, which I can also appreciate.

However, one of the best changes, in my opinion, is the new location of the exhaust. Toyota did so many great things with the 4th gen but I really was not a fan of how low the stock exhaust hung down especially for clearance when offroading. The magnaflow exhaust not only rerouted the exhaust to sit higher and closer to the body of the truck but there is also an option to remove the black exhaust tip for better off-roading clearance. When the tip is removed, the exhaust dumps right over the rear axle (I'll attach some pics that I snagged from their website).

Overall super impressed and would definitely recommend it as a solid option for those wanting to upgrade their exhaust system!

How much wider is it vs the stock exhaust?
It looks like it sits pretty close to where it sits now on my Trailhunter.
Did you get a tune done to accommodate the new effects?

I think it's about the same width...I don't think there was a significant difference. At least not one I noticed. And I wouldn't be surprised if the trailhunter has it up highr where it should be since it's geared towards hitting the trails.

But no I haven't done a tune for it yet 🤔

It looks great. 👍🏻
Magnaflow makes great stuff.
I asked because I assumed the new exhaust was larger for increased flow and wondered what they had figured was the best size?
In my past experience tuning with new performance parts usually maximizes your gains 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
