Decided not to wait for stock Goodyears to wear out. Did the takeoff thing yesterday. Nitto Terra Grappler G3 (and spare, easily fits underneath ) 275/70r18 (barely bigger than stock) seemed the winner after research for many reasons. Sure, would like 34's, but not enough to get outta "SL" land. Nope, not gonna do it. Too much "tax".
They are 3 peak snow rated and VERY quiet.
