- 2025 Tacoma TRD Offroad Long Bed Upgrade Package
I’ve got the Toyota Predator steps on my 4th gen Tacoma, and honestly, they’ve impressed me more than I thought they would. They’re body-mounted steps, so I know they won't hold up like true rock sliders, but they’ve taken a pretty good beating and are still staying strong.
I’ve banged them a few times on trails and while you can see some scrapes, they haven’t bent or loosened up at all. For something that’s marketed as more of a step than armor, they’re surprisingly solid.
I also really like how they look on the truck. They’ve got that clean, aggressive styling that fits the Tacoma well and they don’t hang too low. Obviously if you’re doing serious rock crawling, proper frame-mounted sliders are the way to go, but for light to moderate off-road use plus daily function, these steps have been great.
Anyone else running these and had the same experience?
