Tacoma CarPlay Upgrade: iOS 26 Glass Look and Toyota App Fix

Don't know if anyone is happy about the new CarPlay update that has a cool, clear "glass" look, which you can try in the iOS 26 beta program.

The fresh look is great, and iOS 26 brings a dark mode to CarPlay that makes night drives less hard on your eyes.

I always got a bothersome prompt for the Toyota app when I plugged in, but I fixed it by simply turning off Face ID for the app in my iPhone settings, the annoying pop-up went away, and my CarPlay has been perfect since.

If you have the same CarPlay trouble with your Tacoma, change the Face ID settings and you'd be good to go.
