Tacoma System and Brake Malfunction + Orange Coolant Light Issue: Anyone Has Any Solution Ideas?

Quick question for those who have wired their Diode Dynamics SS3 ditch lights to the OEM switches. What did you have to do with the harness that Diode Dynamics sent so you could ground the lights to the ground wire in the switch? Am I correct in thinking that I shouldn’t have to make battery connections since the power is already provided through the switch? Also, I don’t need the relay Diode Dynamics provides do I? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone had a “system malfunction” “break malfunction” message AND orange coolant light come ON and suddenly OFF on their truck dash?

This was the message I got this morning and I immediately reached out to the dealership, who said it won’t be covered since I’m over my warranty.

Dealership said to bring it in for diagnostics and pay out of pocket. I'll wait to see how it all plays out while also looking out for potential solutions too.
