I have the recall for the rear brake lines on my truck. Apparently Toyota must not think it is serious because they haven't come up with a "fix" for it yet according to my dealer and it has been like 10 months.........
Mine is 11 months old with 23K. I don't know how it broke. I got in the truck one morning and went to push it when I saw it was crooked and barely on. It fell off in my hand and two plastic pieces from the inside fell out. Somehow the inner plastic tabs that hold the knob on broke.
Looks like I'll be doing this too. My OEM knob just broke! The plastic innards snapped off, making the knob unusable. I was going to see if warranty covered it but I said screw it, time to upgrade.
I did a search but it did not pull up an an answer to my question. My free year of navigation is up and Toyota want to charge me $15/month to keep it.
Question: Do I lose navigation all together if I don't pay or just the ability to receive updates?
Are you guys putting in a full 6 quarts? I'm putting in 5.5 and the dipstick reads to the top dot. Anything more seems like I would be overfilling it. And yes, I am changing the filter at the same time as the oil.
