I have been eyeballing these. The OEM lightbar is more of a ditchlight, and I would prefer it had more reach so I can slow down for Elk and Deer here in the mountains.
Update: My compressor has been delivered to the dealership. I will have my truck back next week, so I will install it then. Took around 5 months :cautious:
I posted this a few weeks ago, and forgot to share it on here!
Solid truck, with a few issues to speak of. All in all, I love it and cant wait to get it back. (Its been gone for 2 months getting custom work done). I will have it back next week and will really start diving into a very...
That should be warrantied, hard to say if they will warranty it off the truck though. I have to say, as someone who has King on their other vehicle, rubber bushings are sooooo much less of a hassle to deal with. Kings are great, but they require a lot of maintenance.
No not as of yet, the Alucab should be getting put on in the next 3-4 weeks. I will be looking to Dobinson for sure. The front may get a preload spacer for the time being. I will see how it rides/sits to determine if I need it.
Awesome. I commented on this on Facebook about the CV strength stuff. Very excited to see how this holds up. Not because I am looking at doing the same, but because if these hold up decently well then its a testament to how strong the new CVs are.
He did for the rears, because the Dobinsons werent available at the time. But for the fronts, the Trailhunter, Pro, and the other models are all different. So in order to keep the Trailhunter front suspension the same, a spacer lift would compress that spring just enough to help carry some load...
My Fj gets hot when running 4 hi as well. If off road and under 20, 4-low. That's just the way its designed. Some vehicles can get away with it, but its not the way they are supposed to be ran.
The Honda Ridgeline doesn't have low range gears, which is a big part of why no one takes it...
Those look great, one of the options I have been looking into for the TH. The OEM ones are great and do their job, but I want more of a side step function for getting on the roof.
Yeah Jon, with how thin this paint is your gonna wish you had PPF. Especially with the Pro. Even though I have no "poke" from the 35s, the paint is still taking a beating. Not to mention how wide these things are now. Here in Colorado, mine has already taken some significant scratches into the...
Excited to see this. For the rear I will be putting Dobinson's in soon, but I have been hoping we would see some options for the front ends of these things. Very nice riding shocks off road, its a shame they don't offer more spring options for their "heavy loads for long distances" trim. Glad...
