Wanted to have a discussion on the kind of gas other Taco owners use for their trucks. I'm well aware that the electronic control module in most Toyotas is tuned for 87 octane, which is peak efficiency. Higher octane gas doesn't necessarily improve performance. Instead, octane ratings indicate how resistant the fuel is to pre-ignition. Also, I think modern engines have sensors that can help prevent pre-ignition, but there's still a small chance it can happen. Just an open discussion, let me know what kind of gas you use for your Taco.

I posted this a few weeks ago, and forgot to share it on here!

Solid truck, with a few issues to speak of. All in all, I love it and cant wait to get it back. (Its been gone for 2 months getting custom work done). I will have it back next week and will really start diving into a very impressive truck build.
