Trailhunter air compressor failure

I swore I already posted this, but I guess not.

My Trailhunters compressor failed RIGHT before I left for a trip for Arkansas a few months ago. It had worked previously, and then I went to run it before the trip and the compressors deflation valve is stuck open at the same time as it is trying to inflate.

I am hoping this was a problem from the start as the compressor seemed awfully slow. Toyota reps at at Overland Expo before owning the truck told me the compressor would be comparable in inflation times to the ARB dual piston. That was not my experience, but as soon as I have a new compressor I will do some testing on the channel.

I will update as time goes on. They said it would be months before the part would show up, but expected by years end. Hoping it will be here before I send the truck out for a months worth of custom work here soon.

Dude that's wild. I wonder who their supplier is. You'd think with all the ARB components they would have just added one of those! Never had any issues.

Just checked them out. Seems like they might manufacture for several brands? Saw some familiar looking compressors. Looked a little cheap if I'm being honest, at least at first glance.

Good call. So random, I thought that ARB was the compressor manufacture for sure. Never would have thought about NSV.

update: still no compressor. Going on 4 months now.

Update: My compressor has been delivered to the dealership. I will have my truck back next week, so I will install it then. Took around 5 months
