Helivue Design 18 gal Auxiliary Fuel Tank

I ordered one last week. Long Range generally make tanks in the 33 gallon range. That was too much for me.

weBoost Drive Reach Overland – Worth It? (4th Gen Tacoma)

I've had one on my 4R for 6-7 years. It gets used when I'm out in the weeds. I had it boost a bar, and I've had it boost 3 bars. It's not very consistent, but it does help. One comment I will make is Starlink is cheaper. It does require a subscription, and it works better and more consistent...

    Fuel Tank Capacity

Same with my camper, though, 240 is sometime optimistic.

Request for Workshop Service Repair Manual

Good luck. There was a company that was selling Factory Service Manuals (digital), but they stopped providing Toyota.

    Fuel Tank Capacity

The folks at Helivue Design are taking pre-orders on an 18 gallon auxiliary gas tank for the Gen4 Tacoma. Pre-order price is $2000, which is $300 less than list price , so you can save a few bucks ordering now. So, quit whining about our fuel range and solve the problem. No affiliation. Just a...

Fitting 16” Wheels On 4G Tacoma - Shaving Caliper, Spacers, Trimming

The other issue to check is the brake hose in the rear. Trucks with 17" wheels had an issue with rubbing after the wheel packed with mud. That lead to a recall in early 2025.

C4 Lo-Pro front bumper and C4 rear bumper, feedback?

    I get 16-17mpg, but I'm heavier. Same tire. 6MT.

C4 Lo-Pro front bumper and C4 rear bumper, feedback?

Fog lights. They are wired through one of the dash aux switches. It was stupid easy, at least for me. MPG. This was installed as part of a larger build. Heavy rear bumper, a canopy camper, and a little lift. So ya, my MPG tanked, but I doubt the front bumper had anything to do with it.

C4 Lo-Pro front bumper and C4 rear bumper, feedback?

I have the C4 Lo-Pro on mine. The only issue I had was the winch. I have a Warn XD9 with the 9.5XP 6hp motor. It didn't fit the cradle. Installing the original XD9 motor did fit. I used a relocation cable from Warn ($$$) to move the winch controller plug to the front of the bumper. Last, I...

Rear Spring Upgrade for a Light Camper Setup

I ran the 819 springs on mine with my canopy camper. I thought they were wimpy. I then installed the 821, and they still were not enough, so I installed the 1/2" spacer. It's still not where I want it, but will work for now. I will probably at some point install the 823 springs.

Show Me Your Tire Inflation/Deflation (Portable Air) Setups!

No need for a picture. I just carry a Viair 400P-A. I do have a SAE port on the front bumper to plug it in. That way I don't need to lift the hood to attach alligator clips to the battery. It lives in my camper-canopy behind one of the gull-wing doors so it's super easy to access.
