We are looking at it for sure! At this point we haven't scanned/removed that area on the 4R, but once the intake is done it will be next on the list.

We're working on a new intercooler upgrade for the 4th gen Tacoma, and it's shaping up to be a solid improvement over the factory unit. The core features more charge air rows for better thermal efficiency, and we're using cast aluminum end tanks for improved strength and flow characteristics...

The new mounting bracket for the step is stainless, and the recovery hardware in our kits is dacromet-coated grade 10 steel. FEA analysis was performed with a simulated 400lb load on the bed step, with observed stresses allowing for a factor of safety just under 2!

Some additional images now that we have the stainless steel prototype in! Fitment is perfect and we are *fairly* certain this will also work on Trailhunter trims with the ARB recovery point, but we will be testing that shortly.

We aren't sure as of right now as we don't have a Trailhunter local to us for testing.
