Today went to Crowns Toyota, in California.

Went early morning to test drive the Tacoma and it felt solid. No weird noises and quiet as a mouse.

For months I had doubts of going for the TRD Off-road with the upgrade package.

Today went with the premium upgrade.
With stuff like:

Mud Guards
Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism
Bed Mat
Door Edge Guard
Exhaust Tip - Black Chome
Mini-Tie Down
Wheel locks

MSRP: 55,095
Discount of: $5,500
The college rebate there was a problem. Good news is the salesperson gave me an additional $500 discount.

Taxes/dmv/registration/ and GAP came to a total of $54,879.20

Downpayment of $5,500

Brings to amount financed of $49,379.20

At 3.99% Apr at 72 months for a monthly payment of $773.60

The finance manager did try to sell me the Toyota Care for 84 months at unlimited miles. But I declined.

In the end, I had a wonderful experience at Crown Toyota. It was a hassle free experience, no sales tactic, and no bogus fees.

I installed the Lasfit floor mats. Tomorrow replacing the Halogen front turn signals with LED.

My main mod is to pay it off asap.

Other than that. The Tacoma has everything I wanted.

My next mod will be the Amber/Yellow Ditch Lights. And also, the tonneau cover.

Do you know any good brands for Tonneau covers?

Yeah I hear you on paying it off. Just sold my truck and using it towards a decent down payment.

Cali Raised has some brackets for ditch lights. I believe they posted about them in the vendor section. Just FYI.

Real Truck owns many of the major US companies. Really depends on what you're looking. The have brands like BAK, Gator, Retrax. Retrax is cool because some companies like upTOP make compatible bed racks. Diamondback has a cool one too, a heavy duty hard shell. Going to depend on budget and application. Cheaper ones can be like $300-500. They top out at like 4-5k. So it varies.
