I’m currently at Toyota’s headquarters and just got a first look at the new 2026 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro in the brand-new Wave Maker color. Seeing it in person, it’s noticeably different from what we were shown in the teaser images. There’s actually a slight green tint to it that doesn’t really come through in the photos, and it’s not quite as baby blue as it seemed either. Depending on the lighting, you can also catch some gray-blue tones in the paint. One thing that stood out is the finish—it’s got a smooth, glassy look without any metallic flake. All of the black accents on the Tacoma really kinda help this bold color stand out a little bit more too. What do you guys think of this new color?
