Windshield Issues, Protection & Replacement Options for Tacoma Owners?

Hey everyone, I’m looking for Tacoma specific input on windshield care and replacement. Has anyone here had to replace their windshield on a 4th Gen lately? Was the OEM glass noticeably better than aftermarket in terms of clarity, NVH (noise, vibration, harshness), and durability? I’m also curious about protective options like rain repellent coatings or protective films. Are they worth applying before off road trips or highway driving? For those who’ve dealt with chips turning into cracks, what was your repair versus replace decision process? Any product or install tips Tacoma owners swear by?

The brake pedal cover pops off. Slap the new one on. The gas pedal does not come off so just install the new one over the top. Trick….dunk the new pedals in hot water first or if you live somewhere warm stick them out in the sun for a few minutes first.
