Measure your hood liner for me if able?

Hey gang!! New to this forum and really excited about my 2025 taco coming in a couple months as a factory order. I have (as most of us have) seen the thread about the aluminum top plate located in the front shocks breaking when off-roading, possibly due to a new design that eliminated the external bump stops on the 24’+ Tacos. Now I do believe Bilstein addressed the issue, stating that their bump stops are now built-in the actual shocks. My question is, if I decide to add the aftermarket Icon top plate, in the event of bottoming out and cracking the aluminum part by Toyota, would Icon reinforcement plate “transfer” the load to a more important part like a control arm, thus potentially causing more expensive damage? Or is the Icon plate a cheap and effective preventative measure, “solving” the potential issue? Any advice is welcome and greatly appreciated!!

My 2024 TRD Off-Road does not have a hood liner/insulator. I contacted Toyota for part # 53341-AK010 and they told me there is a backorder nationwide with no ETA due to a shortage in materials. I would like to add a hood liner to decrease engine noise I can hear easily while driving thru the city doing stop/go driving especially when the truck shifts from first to second gear up thru 2000 RPM. I can order Metro Moulded HI2 cut-to-fit material from Metro Moulded Parts and make my own at a fraction of the price. If someone has a hood liner on their 2024 Tacoma, are you able to measure the outside diameter of the liner so I create one for myself? Thank you. I can order the plastic clips (part # 90467-A0003) online anytime that holds the liner in place. It appears it takes 10 clips based on the holes I see under the hood for the liner is secured.
