SXTH Element sent over their intake and after running it for a bit I can honestly say it’s a great upgrade over the factory setup. One of the first things I noticed was the improved airflow and a bit more throttle response. The truck just feels a little more eager when getting on the throttle, especially during acceleration, and overall it seems to breathe a lot better than it did with the stock air box. Another thing I really like about this intake is the sound. It adds a really nice intake tone without being obnoxious or over the top, and it gives the truck a much more aggressive feel while driving. I attached a video below so you can hear how it sounds. I took my truck on a road trip from NWFL to Arrington Virginia for Overland Expo East. This truck is so freaking nice to drive when compared to my last 3rd Gen. The seats are super comfortable and the powertrain is really enjoyable for being a 4cyl. I averaged around 18 mpg. I know that’s not amazing but I have larger heavier R/T tires, a lift, and other additional weight added to my truck.
