Tacoma Headlight Water Spots: Your Experiences and Solutions?

SXTH Element sent over their intake and after running it for a bit I can honestly say it’s a great upgrade over the factory setup. One of the first things I noticed was the improved airflow and a bit more throttle response. The truck just feels a little more eager when getting on the throttle, especially during acceleration, and overall it seems to breathe a lot better than it did with the stock air box. Another thing I really like about this intake is the sound. It adds a really nice intake tone without being obnoxious or over the top, and it gives the truck a much more aggressive feel while driving. I attached a video below so you can hear how it sounds. Overall I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a small performance upgrade, or honestly even just for the sound alone because it really makes the truck more fun to drive. (these are screenshots from an Install video I made on my Instagram) I don't have any photos of the intake currently.

Has anyone seen wet spots or fog in their headlight covers? I used to see some fog and water spots in my Tacoma's headlights some months ago.

At first, I thought, is this a usual thing, a factory error, or maybe water getting in somehow? Heard other owners say they have this same problem too, and I want to share a fix that might help if anyone needs it.

One fix is to check the headlight seals and make sure they fit right. If the problem stays, try taking out the headlight, dry it with a hairdryer on low heat, and use a silicone sealant around the edges to stop water from getting in, which helped me.

If it’s because of a factory fault, talking to your dealer or the headlight maker for a warranty replacement might be the best choice. Either way, there’s a fix for it, just in case anyone is having this trouble too.
