Yo guys, just a heads up... the 4th Gen Tacoma CV axle is compatible with the 2nd/3rd Gen Tacoma. Length, splines, and everything seemed to mate up with the diff and the unit bearing just fine. Might be a good idea for a CV upgrade for the 2nd/3rd Gen Tacoma guys, or if the 4th Gen guys want a spare CV, I don't see why a 2nd/3rd gen CV would fit into a 4th Gen. When we were out on the Rubicon the other day, one of our 2nd Gen homies (Tacodust Jason) blew a CV, so we grabbed a 4th Gen Tacoma spare from another vehicle, and after taking some measurements, everything was, for the most part, the same.

Loving this truck so much. Was just days away from buying a 3rd gen Tacoma when wife suggested I spend just a few thousand more for a new truck. So glad I did - the responsiveness of the 4cyl turbo, and the added headroom is also a bonus.

So far I’ve added the following:
Ceramic tinting
All weather floor mats
Screen protector
Center console organizer
Center console hidden compartment
Tonneau cover Truxedo Truxport
Garmin dashcam
“Adjusted” the headrest too!
