Daniel over on Facebook has been fitting some light bars on the TRD Pro/Trailhunter grille for the new Tacoma.

“4th gen Trailhunter grille with a Baja Designs, Diode Dynamics, and Heretic light bar loose fitted. They all fit pretty nicely! However, the Baja bar might require very minor cutting of the grille to fit mounting brackets. We’ll see!”

Do you think you could contact Daniel about the overall dimensions of the light bar w/ the mounting tabs and/or dimensions of the grill opening? I have access to CAD software and I would love to try and design a "block off" plate in place of the light bar.

I personally, would want one of the heritage grills (PRO/TH) on my truck, but don't really see the need for a light bar on a truck that sees daily driver use 99% of the time, nor do I want to wire in a lightbar just to fill the space.

My idea is to design a bolt-in 3D printed part that fills the void in place of a light bar, but still continues the hexagon pattern. Thoughts?
