Had the same feeling about this when i bought it. Had the same tank on my Jetta before buying this. I did do some research and found a in-bed tank if anyone is interested. It just bolts into the red rails and then 1 or 2 in the bed itself. Not a bad idea for people taking long trips or off-grid...
