2024 TOYOTA TACOMA TRD OFFROAD
Hi everyone! Backwoods team here.

We wanted to post a quick thread on our prototype front bumper for the 4G Tacoma. Very excited for this one!

The goal is to produce a product that follows our unique style and features. The standout feature is the "hybrid" design. Steel winch cradle with an aluminum bumper shell. This time around, we have soft edges on the shackle mounts, featuring larger holes for compatibility with soft shackles. We've also added internal gussets to the shell to improve overall strength and resistance to impacts. The plan is to offer a full bull bar (covers most of the front end and headlights), a prerunner bar (center portion with gussets), and no bar. It will be compatible with sensors, have light cutouts (these will be updated).

This is an early prototype, so we've already taken the feedback and are close to wrapping up a V2. A few more tweaks and it will be perfect! It's a little bulky now, so we have a smaller and sleeker shell for better clearance and a more slim, aggressive look.

We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback, but we're sure the revisions will make it even more appealing and we're stoked to share the updates soon!

The bumper is not live yet, but when it is you can find it at the link below.

I like where this is going! I'm glad you guys decided to slim it down a bit; that should help to make it more aggressive and appealing. Can't wait to see the final product once it's finished and powder-coated. I ran one of these on my 3G - it was a great setup!
