Mirror replacement

So unfortunately, me being the dumbass I backed out of my garage and clipped my side view mirror and broke the cover and trim pieces. With talking with the dealer the outer cover was its own part but the other trim pieces were not so I get to pay the price. My question is, has anyone removed/replaced their mirror assembly on their 4G Tacoma and if so do you have any tips? Any help is appreciated.

I have been eyeballing these. The OEM lightbar is more of a ditchlight, and I would prefer it had more reach so I can slow down for Elk and Deer here in the mountains.
