Big Day of Tacoma Mods: AL4 Cover, Skid Plate, and Air Dam Removal

I’ve seen a lot of people asking about fitting 33’s on the 4th gen Tacoma without a lift, so I wanted to share my setup and experience. Truck: 2025 Tacoma TRD Off-Road Wheel & Tire Setup: Wheels: Lock Off-Road Wheels Size: 17x9 Tires: 33x12.5 Suspension: Stock Fitment notes: To make the 33x12.5 tires fit properly, I had to remove the front crash bars. After removing them, the clearance improved a lot and the setup works great. So far: No major rubbing during normal driving Good clearance while turning Truck still drives great on the road The stance is way better than stock and the truck feels more capable on trails even without a suspension upgrade yet. I recently tested the setup on its first trail run, and the truck felt super smooth and stable with the bigger tires. Yesterday, I installed the Worksport AL4 trifold cover, AP&C21 skid plate, removed the air dam, and also added the Redline hood struts to my truck.

Not the first mods I'd be carrying out on my truck, but it certainly was the highest I've done so far. Hope to carry out a lot more modifications in the future, that's for sure.
