Went to a local dealer yesterday. They have a white TRD Pro. White primary color, with the "optional" black roof. I use say "optional" because unless you get a black one, this is a $400 package that cannot be removed. But not really my point...

I saw this close up yesterday (picture attached) and it looks pretty cheap. The paint stops a bit abruptly behind the doors, etc. and has a margin that you can feel with your hands. Looks like it was just quickly taped, and the tape was removed while the paint was still a little wet. It just feels a bit lacking. I wonder how the edges will hold up over time. Something to think about when you're buying a truck at retail price of $70k...

vinyl wrap ,
some are doing it & plus it's reversible

To my knowledge (research) and to the touch, these are not vinyl wraps. This is a standard feature for Pro models and cannot be removed becuase they are painted on. Like this paint is sprayed over the white underneath. At least that's what it looks like. Not the case for black ones, since they are already all black, but every other color gets it added.

i was talking about using vinyl instead of black paint as ive seen many white ,silver, cement, tacos with black Vinyl tops ... pro lookalike if u will 🙄

Ah yes! For sure. I saw some people do the design on 3rd Gens as well. Vinyl is a good option.
