First day of the year, meet first mod! Perry Parts bump stops for 4G. These are 3D printed and came with a cross section demo piece plus some swag. Haven't mounted them up yet, but they feel really durable. Will be an improvement over the factory ones, no doubt. I'll provide more feedback asap. Probably going to knock out a YT video on these as well with a detailed review. Stoked to test these out, especially off-road with some weight in the bed.

Currently they cost $125. Which is like half to a third of the price of other options. Not bad at all. Come with a solid warranty too.

Got the Trail Tacoma logo etched in there as well. Very nice touch!

I just got my Perry Parts bump stops installed and I had to go to their customer service to discover a little install tip that really made the difference.
Here you go...

is the bolt spacing too tight or too far apart? Please follow the following image:

If you thread the bolt all the way into the insert, then remove the bolt+insert from the bump stop polymer, it will allow for several additional mm of radial play, allowing you to start both bolts - the insert has a taper that will center the bump stop back up on the bolt+insert.
The tapered insert is an intentional feature to accommodate variation in Toyota frames.

Hey yea dude! Where is the rubber though? I'm confused.

The Perry Parts bump stops are made of "rubber-like" material - just 3D printed.

"We build our own machines - specifically to build our parts from ultra-premium material. Our bump stops are built from industrial grade polymer, which is about 20% stronger than cast polyurethane - and could not be built with any other machine." - https://www.perryparts.com/aboutprocess

Industrial-grade polymers are essentially tough, durable plastics but some are soft and flexible, making them ideal for things like gaskets and seals that need to stretch or in this case, compress to a degree that's needed to prevent shock top out.
