Hazy stripes paint when I picked up 4G Taco

Just after Overland Expo West, I finally got my hands on my new 4G Taco. I ordered it a couple months ago-black wasn’t my first choice, but it’s definitely better than Blueberry.

I picked it up right after the event, but to my horror, the black paint was marred with micro scratches and a deep haze from either shipping or unpacking. Seeing my $46k base model TRD Offroad in such a state was a real letdown. I’m usually pretty, but I couldn’t stand starting off with a paint job that looked like that. If it gets pinstriped, it’s going to be by me and only me!

Who else feels me no this?

After a lot of back and forth with the dealership (not the easiest process and a real time suck) I finally got the truck back in decent shape.

Another reason why black wasn’t my first choice. I have heard of a few other people having similar issues, anyone else?

Congrats! Sorry to hear about the mishap, but excited to see what you have planned for the taco.
