Hey y'all! I installed the Aspire Auto Accessories wide view mirrors on my 2025 Tacoma a few weeks back and wanted to give my thoughts on them after using them for some time!
The mirrors were a massive upgrade compared to the stock mirrors.
Here are a few standout differences:
1. Aspire's mirrors give you a much wider angle and you can now see the blind spots. You can actually see cars next to you now instead of just the blind spot monitor going off.
2. The glass is subtly curved, not like those extreme fisheye lenses that distort everything. The transition from the regular to the wide-angle portion is smooth and doesn’t mess with your depth perception.
3. The installation is super easy. If you’ve ever swapped mirror glass before, it’s a 10-minute job. They snap into the factory mirror housing with only needing 1 tool and that is a trim tool to get the mirror cap off. It took me about 15 minutes on the first one just because I was worried about breaking it but realized quickly I had nothing to worry about. The 2nd side took maybe 3 minutes max.
4. They look just like OEM! You can either do a blue tint or regular clear mirror. They blend in really well – same size, shape, and finish as factory. Unless you know what you’re looking for, you’d never notice they’re aftermarket.
5. No modification is needed. The Aspire mirrors I installed are compatible with blind spot monitoring, mirror heating, and if you want to add it some have the turn signals you can add into the glass. Sensors still work perfect after the swap.
Here is the before and after!
As you can see, you can see much more of the truck and a much wider angle outwards. It did take me a day or two to get used to the mirrors at first. They really messed with my eyes, but I got completely used to them. I would get them again and again. I am purchasing a 6G 4Runner in a few days, and I will be getting these ASAP.
