2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO
Been getting used to the IsoDynamic seats in my TRD Pro and figured I’d see what everyone else thinks. Here’s where I’m at so far:

IMG_7037.jpeg

Pros:
  1. Way more comfortable off-road than I expected — they actually do save your back.
  2. Your head doesn’t bounce all over the place, makes it easier to stay locked in on the trail.
  3. Being able to dial in the firmness is a nice touch.
  4. They feel solid without being super heavy or bulky.
  5. Honestly they’re just kind of quirky and cool — feels like one of those features people will look back on in a few years and go, “remember when Toyota put shocks in the seats?”
Cons:
  1. Backseat legroom definitely takes a hit.
  2. They’re pretty snug — bigger folks might not love the bolstering.
  3. Headrests don’t move at all.
  4. Only manual recline, would’ve been nice to have power adjust.
  5. Not sure how the shocks will hold up long-term with dirt and dust.
Couple questions for everyone else:
  • Anybody found any hidden tricks or “Easter eggs” with these yet?
  • What PSI are you running? I’ve seen people throw around numbers like 60/15 for crawling and 70/20 for faster stuff. Curious what’s actually working out there. I think im running 60/20 right now and havent had any issues.
So far I’m liking them, just interested to see how everyone else is setting theirs up.

Strangely enough the new 'wave maker" or whatever they are calling that hideous color is not even listed on Toyota's USA site as an option for the 2026 - as they are now listing "2026" model on the site.

And for those holding off to see if Toyota will make the pro iso-seats now an option - Toyota has doubled down on little back leg room. Still listed as standard for 2026 - I'm sure most of us are not surprised, but still disappointed.

Looks like zero changes for 2026, even the same wheel design which they will tweak/change on a pro.

I actually freaking love mine. They're way more comfortable than the seats in my wifes 2025 TRD Pro 4R. I don't care about the rear seat room at all as I'm doing a full seat delete anyways lol

LOL, I have not done anything with the air shocks since i got the truck.

Picked up my 2025 Pro yesterday (dealers are dropping prices now that Nov has hit). What a beast. 😍

Anyway, Smithereens - I can confirm much of your post 👍. The seats are incredibly comfortable - do NOT feel "bound" like some complain. They are just nice. I'm 5'10" and w/ my driving position - I can sit behind "myself" - would I want to do it for hours - no, but can I ... yes. Tundras are for 6'4" guys anyway ;)

If you angle your seat all the way up - does it click like this video? I'm assuming it does this because on the motor that angles the seat up it's on the left side of the seat which leaves more room for play on the right side causing this click.

I'm just under 2k miles and mine has started squeaking when I move.

Yes, mine started squeaking after first off-road venture... i just adjusted the seat to where it stopped and made it comfortable from there.
