After a recent snow storm, my sensors got all gunked up. Since they were blocked, the truck started to throw up a couple error codes. Not the end of the world, but it was flashing nonstop on the dash. No matter how much I cleared the error on the screen, it just get popping up and jumping between these two. A little annoying. Electronics are great, but they can also impact how the vehicle works in inclement situations. I imagine the same could happen with mud while off-roading...

Mine did that too when we had our last winter storm come through. The dash lit up like a Christmas tree as a result and was so annoying with that constant message popping up in the middle of the cluster.

Yeah I wish it would just leave the lights on the dash and leave me alone otherwise, haha.

How much snow was piled on the sensors? We talking inches or a dusting?

Not a crazy amount. Enough to slush up and free over the sensors. But I can imagine all the sensors totally jammed up in the case of a bad winter storm. They seem pretty sensitive. But I only had it happen a couple of times.
