Given that we now have turbocharged engines, it's got me thinking... I could always use more power. I already have the hybrid, but again... more power!

There has to be a way to upgrade these trucks. I know upgrading turbos isn't as big in the Toyota/Lexus world (especially since we're just seeing the first turbo motors in these new gens), but I'd love to know if anyone has even hinting they're considering making a kit.

I'm sure you could retrofit something, but it sounds like more than I'd want to do in my driveway. I imagine there's A LOT of tuning involved, and the electronics are more complicated.

Let me know if you've heard or seen anything. Maybe I should just try reaching out to some big manufacturers and see if they'd consider it. If it could be done safely and efficiently, I think it wouldn't totally empty my wallet either. Compared to supercharging at least. Referencing the last gen Toyotas where a true turbo setup was never achieved at any scale or for production.

And last thing... how strong is the block/motor? The factory gauges seem to indicate that the system tops out at 15 PSI. How much more could it theoretically handle? 5? 10? This is out of my wheelhouse, haha.

Happy with any/all input.
