Went through some serious changes this week. I spent the last few days at Mill Creek Automotive while they installed my 74Weld portals along with a few other upgrades. I’ll get into the rest of that stuff later, but I wanted to share this part now.
Big thanks to Albert and the whole crew at the shop for letting me hang around, ask questions, take photos, and be part of the process when I could. There’s no one else in Nashville I would have trusted with a job like this. They handled everything that came up like true pros.
As for the truck itself, it’s on a completely different level now. The stance, the clearance, the overall look, it all came together better than I imagined.
With portals providing 4 more inches of ground clearance, a regear, stock CV angles, and making OEM alignment a breeze - it’s a pretty wild setup.
74Weld seriously makes some impressive stuff. Once you see the parts in person and get a feel for the quality, the cost makes a lot more sense.
I also just knocked out a 300-mile round trip with the new setup, so I’ll be putting together a more detailed post soon with pricing, first impressions, and how it drives.
For now, I just wanted to finally share the set up.
