Does anyone have any tailgate panels available yet for the new 4th Gen Tacoma? I had an All-Pro one on my old 3rd Gen Tacoma and I enjoyed it while camping. I’m curious if anyone has installed any on their new trucks yet and how they are liking them. I may be installed one on my next truck I’m getting soon!

I asked Jimmy about this today. He's hoping to have something early next year. Will be one of my first mods.

seen a marine grade foam one offered $500 made to order forgot the name . if i see the ad again i will report back , as i need a panel i can safely walk on , I nearly busted my butt when climbed into the bed 4 the 1st time

Mountain Hatch has a really nice one fits well. 2 options: flat or one with a couple recessed spot for cup holders etc. I think they're around $200-$250

BillieBars is a great American company that makes tailgate panels for the new tacomas. They are reasonibly priced and high quality. Its on my list of things to buy eventually.

Wow! That pricing! $435 is almost double the price of others. $250 seems to be an average price. Not talking down on them, I know they make good stuff. But how did we get to such a high price point?

Yeah damn, that's expenseive. Free shipping, though. And they do make nice stuff. I'm sure that marine grade foam over aluminum is super stout and easy on the knees. I kinda like it but yeah, that price hurts for a tailgate panel.

yeah i agree is kinds pricey but you are supporting a US company with high quality products.

You don't see too many panels with the marine grade foam like that. Honestly, it's a great idea. Doing bed installs suck when you're your knees are consistently on a solid aluminum tailgate panel. I have a snailarmor panel on my 2G Tacoma, and it's been great, but that hard foam would be a gamechanger for sure if you're constantly getting in and out of the bed.

Whoa. $435 is a lot. I wonder what that stuff is like to cut on? Like when you go to prep food I'm curious if it has the same safety as stainless steel? It looks pretty nice without seeing it in person hard to say if it's double the price nice.
Mountain Hatch is an American company also if that is an important selling point to you.
