Have any of you done this or am thinking about doing this? I did it with my old Tundra because the fake V8 noise was horrible...This new Tacoma TRD Pro actually sounds pretty good when paired with the TRD exhaust. So I may leave it. But I was curious if any of you turned off the noise and it improved the overall driving experience.

Here is how I removed it in my old Tundra (along with the seatbelt chime).

I turned it on and off for a week or so on my Trailhunter. It's pretty subtle on the Tacoma. It mostly just adds to what is already there and deepens it a bit. I ended up leaving it on and prefer the fake noise. Makes it sound a bit less droney.
