I live in an area with a ton of deer. The risks of hitting one are pretty high. Before wasting a bunch of time searching I wanted to see if anyone had a recommendation for a front setup for the Trailhunter?

If you want super robust protection, that won't create more damage when it hits your truck secondary to the impact, I would highly recommend a full front bumper with hoops that cover the entire front end. Two options are good for this off top. Backwoods Adventure Mods (link here) and C4 Fabrication (link here). Backwoods is lighter, has an aluminum shell and steel winch cradle. C4 is full steel, modular design with multiple bolt together pieces. They also have a full plate and a hybrid tube version.

These are your best bet if you want to walk away from and medium/large impacts without destroying the rest of the front end.

Yeah they are more expensive, but they're very well made. You also get more spots for things like lights, winch, recovery points, etc. Would go well with the theme of the Trailhunter too.

TBH I would love to avoid it. But when I say a lot of deer I mean like a deer convention. I once counted over 150 on a one mile stretch in my neighborhood.

I get that, haha. I would just stay away from brush guards. They don't do much. But yeah the full bumpers are more involved. Sensor relocation, etc.
