Tacoma
2016 DCSB
We just wrapped up an awesome 4th Gen Tacoma build here at Stellar Built, out of Sacramento. This white Trailhunter is outfitted with the CBI Covert Front Winch Bumper, paired with the optional Bolt Bull Bar. For recovery, the customer chose a Warn EVO VR 10S winch, and the Factor55 Flatlink. We also installed the CBI Overland Bolt-On Rock Sliders with kick-out, providing solid protection and functionality. In addition to the armor, we wired in all the lighting, switches, and winch power.

If you’re looking to take your 4th Gen Tacoma build to the next level, we’re here to help! Whether you have questions about fitment, compatibility, or performance, feel free to reach out to us for a quote or any info you need.

Check out our contact page for a quick quote: https://stellarbuilt.com/contact-us/

What do you guys think about the bolt-on bull bar? Are you about it or no?

Nice, how hard was it to run power to the winch?

Not that difficult on the non-hybrids. Just like previous models, run the primary power and ground leads directly to the battery. We recommend running an inline cutoff (Blue Sea Systems 150amp) closer to the battery. Also, on these new Tacomas, 4Runners and even some of the older (late model) gens like 2023 model year Tacomas/4Runners, you cannot wire any accessories to the inline fuses at the terminal (dual fused terminal clamps). For all winches and switch systems, those must be wired directly to the terminal to prevent blowing the fused terminal clamps.

For wiring on the hybrids, check out this thread: https://4gtaco.com/threads/wiring-accessories-to-new-4th-gen-tacoma-hybrid.329/
