Dropping off my 2025 Tacoma TRD Off Road today to get the Rough Country 3.5 inch lift installed. This kit is one of the best values out there. It’s a clean and straightforward way to improve both the look and function of the truck more clearance, a more aggressive stance, and room for larger tires. One of the main things I’m looking forward to is that added clearance, especially with the double cab long bed. This setup should give a better approach and departure angle without needing a full suspension overhaul. It’s not an extreme lift, but it’s just enough to make the truck look more capable and trail-ready while keeping it comfortable for daily driving. For the price, it’s hard to beat. Installing the Lasfit side-steps solo was a hassle, but I managed to get it done. Also slapped on some AVS vent visors.

Now waiting on the Diamondback cover to arrive. Next up, planning a 1.5” front lift. I’ll grab some rugged tires once these ones wear out.
