FYI for Non-Offroad, TrailHunter, Pro Trims: Skid Plate Attachment Fix

For those trims not listed above that still want to add a skid plate, your truck will not have the cross member for the attachment points in the front.

Thankfully NYTOP has made a bolt-on cross member for that purpose.

Also OEM TRD Skid plates are part # PTR60-35240, and currently priced at $414; as well as other options from Victory and NYTOP, etc.

My SR5 will not see any off-road environments in the next few years. But just in city driving I see a lot of road debris. I’ve decided to keep the air dam on for the time being. Once it’s removed, I’ll be swapping out the composite/fabric skid for an OEM TRD skid, thus needing this NYTOP cross member.
