By far the Carista has been the best bang for the buck mod I have gotten. I am close to someone who is into auto tech, which allows me to see many vehicles. He has been the one covering the costs of this by tips given for services.

With this device, you can be able to turn off your seatbelt chime and roll down windows with your remote.For me, I was also able to turn off the reverse beep on my Prius.

This made it very easy to change other settings, like unlocking all the doors with one click of the remote and unlocking all doors by grabbing the driver's door. A great addition for your truck.

Be warned though, depending on your trim level and configuration - some of the advertised modifications may or may not be programmable. In my case, with my 2024 SR5 4x4 I was unable to modify the blinker settings (one of the things I was looking forward to changing).

So far, it seems to be working great for my truck. Nonetheless, thanks for this information and I'd be on the look out for any function that doesn't work for my truck.

Yes, a lot of owners have been able to do that using the OBD2 scanner and the Carista app. Although disabling the sound doesn't offer much of a difference. Maybe it's trim dependent I can't really say. But it's possible to have it disabled.
