JBL Subwoofer packs a punch - TRD Premium Package

Hi everyone,

I’m enjoying the JBL subwoofer that came with my 2024 Tacoma. The bass is deep and the overall sound quality is fantastic, adding a great audio experience to my drives. It integrates perfectly with the truck’s factory audio system and enhances everything from music to podcasts.

Questions:

How’s your experience with the factory JBL subwoofer?
Any tips for getting the most out of it?

Personally, I think the JBL sucks! I was in a new Corolla for an hour the other week and that sound system was 1000 times better. Maybe an amp + new speakers down the road for me.

I am loving the JBL, it seems to be much better than my former 2024 Camry. I wish it didn't have the detachable speaker because I worry it will lead someone to break into my baby. So i am continually bringing it in and out of my truck when I need to go into the city for work. But really i think the sound has been great - zero complaints.
