Snow & Ice Buildup Cause Sensors To Malfunction With Errors

After a recent snow storm, my sensors got all gunked up. Since they were blocked, the truck started to throw up a couple error codes. Not the end of the world, but it was flashing nonstop on the dash. No matter how much I cleared the error on the screen, it just get popping up and jumping between these two. A little annoying. Electronics are great, but they can also impact how the vehicle works in inclement situations. I imagine the same could happen with mud while off-roading...

Back at Toyotas press event for the hybrid Tacomas, I was able to take the new TRD Pro out on a high speed off road course. This track they set up was pretty legit honestly. There was a run up where we got the Tacoma to about 45 mph before hitting several table top jumps. The truck handled it all super well and the hydraulic bumps in the rear soaked up all the bumps. This trd pro is a monster. It better be for the price…
